Disclosures
This page documents how Men's Luxe Guide earns revenue, how that revenue is structured, and how it interacts (and does not interact) with editorial decisions.
Affiliate-commission disclosure
When a reader buys through a link on Men's Luxe Guide, the publication may earn an affiliate commission. The commission is paid by the retailer or brand, not by the reader. The price is the same whether a reader clicks through this site or arrives at the seller directly.
Affiliate links are how the publication is funded. There is no subscription, no paywall, no display advertising, no sponsored content, and no paid placement of any kind. Where the publication has any other material connection to a brand it covers, that connection is disclosed in the brand-relationships section below.
How rankings stay independent of commission
Commission rates vary widely across brands and across categories. Some brands featured in a review pay a higher rate than others. Some pay nothing. Some brands have no affiliate program at all and are covered on editorial merit with no prospect of commission.
The ranking reflects the published evaluation methodology applied to the available evidence. The commission rate is not an input. A brand that pays a higher rate does not outrank a brand that pays less, or pays nothing, for that reason. The methodology lives at /methodology and is published alongside every review. When a higher-ranked product carries a lower commission than a product ranked below it, both publish as ranked.
Disclosure within reviews
Reviews carry an affiliate-disclosure note adjacent to the first call to action and again in the footer. The note identifies the article as containing affiliate links. Individual links are not separately marked beyond the article-level note, consistent with the Federal Trade Commission's Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers guidance applied to publisher-format reviews.
Brand relationships we disclose
Where the publication has a commercial relationship with a brand it covers, that relationship is disclosed here and updated as the list changes.
- Onyx Atelier. Men's Luxe Guide and Onyx Atelier, a moissanite-jewelry brand covered in the jewelry category, share common ownership. The publication discloses this material connection here in line with Federal Trade Commission guidance on disclosing relationships. Onyx Atelier does not pay for placement, and the shared ownership does not change how its products are scored against the published criteria. Links to Onyx Atelier product pages may also earn the publication an affiliate commission.
Affiliate links to other retailers and brands operate under the terms of those programs. Where the publication links to a large retailer such as Amazon, those links may be affiliate links subject to the retailer's associates program. This list expands as the publication takes on additional brand relationships.
A note on moissanite
Some jewelry covered on this site is set with moissanite. Moissanite is moissanite. It is not a diamond and is not a lab-grown diamond, and it is not presented as either by this publication or by the brands covered. Moissanite triggers a positive reading on a standard handheld diamond tester because that tool measures thermal conductivity, a property both stones share. A positive tester reading does not make a stone a diamond. Reviews label moissanite as moissanite throughout.

Affiliate Disclosure
Men's Luxe Guide participates in affiliate marketing programs operated by the retailers and brands whose products it reviews. If a reader clicks an affiliate link on this site and completes a purchase, the retailer or brand may pay Men's Luxe Guide a commission. The commission does not change the price the reader pays. Editorial rankings, verdicts, and methodology are not influenced by the commission rate of any specific program.
